Our projects in the European Union
Currently, we are facing a growing need to bring the world of the European Union closer to the third sector, primarily due to the search for alternative funding sources beyond those available at the national level.
NGOs are eligible for European funding in various fields, such as employment, social inclusion, research and development, as well as cooperation and humanitarian aid. Increasingly, programs have opened participation to these entities, recognizing the role they play and the added value they can bring to their different areas of action.
NGOs are considered key players both in the planning and implementation of European funds. For this reason, the third sector must seize this opportunity, and organizations should open themselves to Europe and incorporate this approach into their strategies.
The benefits of European projects are as follows:
- Expanding collaboration networks at all levels: not only through participation with other organizations in European projects but also through partnerships that may arise at the national level.
- Enhancing the organization’s reputation: Working at the European level increases the opportunities to position the organization as a key player in a specific field, adding credibility with collaborators, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Introducing innovative elements into organizational interventions: These projects can serve as sources of inspiration or avenues for transferring best practices, complementing or enhancing the organization’s activities.
All of this is essential if we want our engagement with Europe to be both useful and effective. This is why we have been actively involved in European projects in recent years.
